I think Turkey was in some way partialy or indirrectly responsible for the assination. Was it ballowed into the European Union? I dont think so.
I dont think people will listen to Bin Laddins son and expect he has a secret aggenda.
Why dont you vote on the polls

hmmm... i tried to enable the comments, but it says they already are... so, dunno. Turkey's not in the EU. They either just had or are about to have some big meeting about its potential future membership. France is against it joining. I think Germany is too. I think Spain supports Turkey's bid to join. Given the continuing violence of Turkey against Kurds (in Turkey and in Iraq) as well as its suppression of talking about the Armenian genocide, I don't think it's suitably democratic or liberal to join. The EU should use membership to leverage potential members to fully comply with all the economic and political criteria.

Thx for the info on the EU, but I think the EU should let it join then use that as leverage to force Turky to meet the criteria rather than force it to meet the criteria then let it join because that prevents people from accusing the EU of discriminating against Turkey because of its religon, also it would stop people from Turkey from saying that its a false hope. Also I think the EU should expand and help Turkey.
